Ho´oponopono anders bekeken ´ – dr. Luc Bodin

Tuesday is book day. Which book is it today ?

As you can see it in the title it´s an dutch book again and this one is only avaiable in the dutch language.
BUT there are a lot of books about ho´oponopono, so there will be good ones in the english language. This is just one i really recommend.

Ho´oponopono is an Hawaiian practice for forgivness and reconciliation. It is a practice that does not require much teaching, but it is powerful for purifying one’s body and getting rid of bad memories or feelings that hold a negative vibe in your life, body and mind.

The main purpose of ho’oponopono is to seek a cure for
problems through forgiveness.
Not necessarily the forgiveness of others,
but especially that of oneself.

In short, it can be said that ho’oponopono is a problem-solving process that must happen entirely within you.

The word “ho’o” means “cause” in Hawaiian, while “ponopono” means “perfection”. The term “ho’oponopono” can be translated as “correct a mistake” or “make it right”.

My first book about Ho´oponopono is writing by a man who works together Dr. Hew Len. I´ll review this book soon. Ihaleakala Hew Len is a therapist and teacher. As unbelievable as the story may seem, this man has managed to cure an entire pavilion of mentally ill criminals in Hawaii without even talking or interacting with any of them. By analyzing each patient’s records, the therapist applied the ho’oponopono keywords, and the repetition of the technique changed his mood. Consequently, the mental activity of the detainees also changed. The results were so surprising that, in short, it can be said that Len was able to heal the prisoners as he was healing himself.

To put ho’oponopono into practice, you don’t have to believe in deities, have any religion, or be isolated in a quiet place. Just say (mentally or out loud): I’m sorry. Please forgive me. I love you. Thank you. You may already begin to experience feelings of compassion, new inner sensations, or a simple relaxation of mind as soon as you finish speaking all the words for the first time.

Personally it helped me with obstacles in my life i had not yet dealt with. I thought i had processed this, but unconsciously i was still dealing with it. And to be honest, i still am. Not really conscious but i know there are things what didn´t been solved yet but they will! It just need some time and work, patcience and faith. Working on myself to be my best self and live my most beautiful live.

The cover is nice, that hit me to buy the book. The book is easy and pleasant to read. And it´s also practical! It has the history about Ho´oponopono in it which is nice to know and it´s so cool to see that this has been used for so many years! It used to be for when there was a conflict in a tribe to solve this but nowadays it has changed so you can add / execute it yourself. I highly recommend this book when you are working on yourself and your traumas..
